Blue Iris On Alert Sound Not Working. The Blue Iris Companion is a client remote control for the Blue Iris application. You may add or remove items from the Flagged view by right-clicking and selecting the option from the pop-up menu. Blue iris setup to send text and email on alerts. HS3 has a static IP address outside the LAN but the computer and HS3 are configured to recognize the LAN. HomeSeer Pro HS3 and Blue Iris BI are on separate computers in a LAN. Make sure that Do Not Disturb is turned off. Note however that if you are running Blue Iris as a service you may not be able to use the LocalSystem account. Did a fresh re-install of BI5 a couple day ago after pulling my hair out trying to get alert sounds to play. The alert types are MOTION AUDIO EXTERNAL and WATCHDOG.

If you click the TEST button you should see an entry in you HomeSeer log showing if the test was successful assuming the log level is set to Info or higher. Represented by the blue flag icon. Im running Blue Iris on a remote computer no monitorkeyboardetc. If your device works with AmCap it should work with Blue Iris and vice-versa. Boom doorbell sound works great until I turned on run as a service and now sounds wont play. Blue Iris will now notify the plugin when an alert occurs.
