Blue Iris Audio Alert Not Working. The Microsoft sample capture program AmCap can be used to test general connectivity with webcams and analog camera cards and devices not network cameras. In the new camera menu give your camera a name a short name for URLs and filenames choose a type which in this case will be a Network IP and enable any options such as enabling audio motion detection etc. Make sure you go into each cameras properties and in the Webcast tab reduce the Jpeg quality and scale until the Jpeg size is around 50KB in order to have a smooth playback.
