Knowing that Leonard Cohen songs Blue Alert is of course a song produced by the collaboration between Anjani Thomas and Leonard Cohen only occasionally appeared in US advertisements I began searching for details and found that the 30 second version of Blue Alert employed in the advertising for Old Navys New Denim jeans was a cover by Madeleine Peyroux.
